The North Carolina Computer Instruction Association was established in 1994 by Carol Jones to meet the needs of training and sharing information related to computer technology. The goals of the NCCIA are: To share ideas and exchange information To cultivate professional development To acquire and maintain competencies in emerging computer technology To identify student competencies within our students' curricula To increase awareness of employment opportunities To provide resource information to the North Carolina Community College System
